The shop

Rick left software to follow rocks.

He traded a secure career in the software industry for a lifelong passion for gems and minerals, and opened the shop in downtown Sequim on Washington’s North Olympic Peninsula.

What that buys you is a store run by someone who actually knows the inventory — collector-grade specimens and four rooms of beads kept by a person who will tell you about any one of them at length, if you ask.
